why should you install Laragon on your windows?

Hi, this is the first post on this website, so let me introduce myself, i am a full stack developer i have +5 years experience in field development especially laravel and Vue.js

in this post we talk about “Laragon” app which is tool for for local development as WAMPP & XAMPP

Install laragon is simply as any applications ,you download can here, you will find two options full version or portable version

After download Laragon on your computer

as you see, on top left , you will know which PHP version and your private IP

on top right we find “h” that will open hosts file when click on it and cog icon for settings will appear this dialog when click on it

here we can active services, when you installed laragon you install few services and tools which you need them for development such as apache, nginx and also composer ,nodejs and php, but cmd won’t know these when run commands you add path in you env , there are exists in path/laragin/bin ,if you don’t want, that not problem for laragon because it offers to you cmder as you see on first picture ,on bottom there is button named by “terminal”, you can use it , and it will know automatically composer , nodejs, php, this is one of many reason to use laragon

now we go to menu laragon on taskbar, there are many item : php,apache,…

here you can config each service or change version, for example you can download new php version and put folder on /path/laragon/bin/php and swicth your version , then laragon will reconfig apache or nginx on new version automatically,or enabled or disabled extesion from interface.
